From Cloud to Business Transformation Planning

With recent advancements in the past few years, cloud technology has moved towards metamorphosis. Cloud has become the latest vogue that business enterprises adopt it to trim the operational overheads to upgrade their IT infrastructure.

This radical push lately is to migrate applications and functions to the cloud. But what makes the cloud so important to deploy? Perhaps, it does raise the question of the suitability of applications for the cloud, or more to the presumption that all applications will function to the same capability in the cloud as when self-hosted. This is the again the rooted belief that cloud storage deployment can be the another way to integrate the business resources.

This might be true because of the truth involved that it comes with a level of configuration. Or, to summate, it could be said that for the laptop, desktop or the other electronic device when moving it from one of these to the other on a new network. Configuration needs to be done every time when you migrate the applications to work in its new home.
Citrix, the legal cloud company and the provider of BYOD solutions that empowers people to work and collaborate from anywhere, accessing business resources and data on their personal devices. Citrix, of late, integrated with iManage Worldox Legal Management Systems that aims to help legal firms get greater value out of their document management system (DMS). The new integration would attempt to eliminate the lengthy process legal and empower the lawyers by providing a safe and secure environment in which to across mobiles, tablets, laptops, and desktops. What all it takes for the successful integration? Transforming data into collective awareness is imperative to run the enterprises efficiently and impeccably. Cloud strategy and planning are keys to successful cloud integration. Adoption of cloud computing lends mobility to corporate applications with scalability and leverage cloud technology wisely for a competitive edge over the contenders and cost containment. However, the ill-organized adoption of cloud services may lead to the disarray of cloud sprawl. This usually happens due to the inadequate strategy and wrong planning formulation that lands the businesses in soup.

Perhaps, the greatest barrier to achieve the successful cloud implementation is not the grueling technology but a weak corporate culture that is devoid of meticulous planning and a coordinated selection and most importantly deployment of resources. As a resource, it is a man that remains the greatest obstacle to cloud integration.
